Serama Shipping Guarantee

Mini Chicken has a 3 day (72 hour) Guarantee.


When you place an order online for one of our Mini Chicken Seramas, you will be contacted via the email or phone number you provided within 24 hours to schedule a shipping day. Until we are able to communicate with you we will not ship your Serama. We do not ship Seramas when the temperature is below 35 degrees or above 85 degrees. Be sure the weather in your town meets these conditions. We will not guarantee any Serama if your weather is below 35 degrees and above 85 degrees. Make sure to check your weather in advance.  


Your Serama will be held at your Local U.S. Post Office upon arrival. You Must Be Available the day your Serama is delivered at the post office to sign and pick up your chicken the DAY OF DELIVERY. Otherwise any refunds due to any unexpected deaths of your Serama during shipping is null and void. No hod.

Mini Chicken guarantees our Seramas to be alive, healthy and to your satisfaction and for 3 days after arrival (72 hours) Notification of dissatisfaction must be made within 24 hours if you notice any problems upon arrival. If you have any questions or concerns we expect you to email or call us first. We do not guarantee Seramas that are not signed for on the first delivery attempt. You MUST BE AT THE POST OFFICE TO SIGN FOR YOUR SERAMA DELIVERY THE DAY IT ARRIVES. 


In the unfortunate event of death of your Serama within the 72 hour period. YOU MUST NOTIFY US WITHIN 72 HOURS VIA EMAIL OR PHONE or refund is null and void. You must email several pictures of the deceased animal along with its living conditions, including pictures of the cage, coop, or enclosure in order to receive a refund. We will only refund the cost of the Serama minus the shipping cost. Refund will be refunded via your original payment method


Our Guarantee is Null and Void if you do not have the proper environment to house your Serama. For example; Housing your Serama in temperatures under 60 degrees. Putting your Serama in a coop with bigger more aggressive chickens or a different breed other than Seramas. Housing your Serama in an area with wild birds. Housing your Serama with chicken that are diseased and have lice and mites or in an area that has disease and lice and mites.

Shipping

All Seramas are shipped via USPS Priority Mail Express and should arrive at your post Office overnight or within 1-2 days depending on where you live. We will provide you with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your Serama. Be prepared to pick up your Serama at your post office the day it arrives. We only ship in USPS approved Bird shipping boxes. We only ship Monday and Tuesdays. Upon purchase of your Serama we will contact you via email or the phone number your provided regarding the best day of shipping and arrival of your Serama. PLEASE NOTE We will not ship until we are able to communicate with you. You Must Provide a Current Phone Number and Email address so USPS carrier can contact you if needed. You must provide a Residential Address. We Do Not Ship to P.O. Boxes. Unfortunatly we do not ship internationally or to APO or FBO addresses.


Shipping is a flat rate of $65.00 for one Serama and $75.00 for two Seramas in the same box. This includes USPS Priority Mail Express Shipping, the approved USPS bird shipping box, bedding and any additional items needed for the safe arrival of your Serama.  We can ship up-to two Seramas in the same box. If you would like to have two birds shipped in the same box please contact us BEFORE PAYING for your Seramas and we can revise the shipping charges accordingly.

Refunds and Returns

We do accept returns If  you are not satisfied with your Serama. We must be

notified within the 72 hour guarantee period. We will refund the cost of your Serama only. We Do Not refund shipping. Return Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. YOU MUST NOTIFY US FIRST WITHIN THE 72 HOUR GUARANTEE PERIOD BEFORE RETURNING YOUR SERAMA or it will be null and void. Returns will not be accepted after 72 hours after signing for your Serama when it arrives at your post office. Shipping is not refundable and there will be a 20% restocking fee for each Serama purchased. Seramas must be returned in the original USPS approved bird shipping box. Returned Seramas must be shipped USPS Priority Mail Express and must arrive in good health or you will not receive a refund.
